Yu no Yu Kaze no Ki selected as one of Japan's top 100 ryokans

Yu no Yu Kaze no Ki, a ryokan located in Matsukura Onsen, Iwate Prefecture, has been selected as one of the ‘Top 100 Hotels and Ryokans in Japan’ for the 51st edition of the professional selection list.

The establishment, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in July 2026, features natural hot spring waters with a pH of 9.3. Recent updates to the facility include the addition of Western-style superior twin rooms and new seating options in the ‘Yama no Kaze’ dining area. The inn offers various accommodations, including Japanese-style superior rooms and suites with private open-air baths.
