Yu Yokoyama launches solo live tour with surprise Tokyo finale

Yu Yokoyama, a member of the group SUPER EIGHT, has launched his solo live tour, ‘ROCK FOR YOU LIVE TOUR’. The tour commenced on August 18 and 19 at Zepp Osaka Bayside in his hometown of Osaka.

During the opening performances, Yokoyama announced a surprise additional concert to serve as the tour finale, scheduled for October 7 at the Tokyo Garden Theater. This tour marks the second chapter of his ‘ROCK TO YOU’ solo project, following the release of his first solo album and a previous 11-city tour.

The tour follows a successful homecoming performance at Osaka-jo Hall in May. Yokoyama has described his musical journey as a period of growth and personal conviction, transitioning his musical focus from personal expression to performing specifically for his audience.
