Yucatán hosts K'íiwik 2026, premier Maya World tourism fair
The State Government of Yucatán announced that the K'íiwik tourism fair will be held from 2 to 5 June 2026 at the Centro Internacional de Congresos. The four‑day event, promoted by Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena and the Secretaría de Fomento Turístico, gathers the nine destinations of the Maya World – Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and the Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatán.
Organisers expect around 600 participants, including more than 200 international buyers from ten priority markets and 175 exhibitor companies. The programme combines an academic day on community, cultural and sustainable tourism with business matchmaking sessions and familiarisation tours to showcase the region’s cultural and natural attractions.
