Yucatán launches 24-hour live webcams for four major destinations
The Yucatán Secretariat of Tourism (Sefotur) has integrated four major destinations—Mérida, Izamal, Progreso, and Valladolid—into the Webcams de México platform. This initiative provides 24-hour live broadcasts to promote the state's cultural, historical, and natural attractions to both national and international visitors.
The live feeds allow potential travelers to observe real-time conditions and local dynamics before visiting. In Mérida, the cameras focus on historical and architectural heritage. Izamal showcases its unique yellow architecture and Mayan heritage, while Progreso offers views of the coastline, beaches, and port activity. Valladolid provides a window into the eastern region's blend of Mayan culture, gastronomy, and nature.
