Global weather alerts: DANA in Spain, tropical waves in Mexico and Venezuela, and storms in the US

Multiple regions are experiencing severe weather events. In Spain, a DANA (isolated high-altitude depression) is causing intense storms, hail, and heavy rainfall across the peninsula and Balearic Islands, with AEMET issuing orange alerts for several autonomous communities. Meteocat has also warned of violent weather, including wind gusts exceeding 25 m/s and large hail in Catalonia.

In Mexico, heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecasted for Mexico City and the State of Mexico, while the Yucatan Peninsula faces increased humidity and storms due to tropical waves. Jalisco is also expecting widespread storms. In Venezuela, Tropical Wave 37 is bringing variable rainfall and electrical activity across much of the country.

Argentina is facing diverse weather alerts, including snow in Mendoza and heavy rain in Misiones. In the United States, meteorologists are monitoring Potential Tropical Cyclone One-C, which may bring intense rainfall and flooding to southeast Hawaii.
