Yuhuai Wu likely buyer of $70M Hillsborough estate
Yuhuai “Tony” Wu, a 31-year-old co-founder of Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI, is the likely buyer of a $70 million estate in Hillsborough, California. The sale of the 12-acre property at 3000 Ralston Ave. marks the largest residential sale in Northern California this year.
The estate, modeled after an Italian lakeside villa, features a 12,000-square-foot main residence, a guest house, and extensive amenities including a sports complex with tennis, golf, and pickleball courts, a 150-seat amphitheater, and various water features.
Property records list the owner as Daikon no Hana Capital LLC, managed by attorney Steven D. Anderson. Wu, who resigned from xAI in February following its acquisition by SpaceX, previously purchased a $12 million home in Los Altos Hills. The transaction highlights a growing trend among AI professionals seeking large, private estates.
