Yui Hasegawa and Toko Koga named to PFA Team of the Year

Two players from the Japan women's national football team, Yui Hasegawa and Toko Koga, have been named to the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Women's Super League Team of the Year.

Hasegawa, a midfielder for Manchester City WFC, earned her fourth consecutive selection to the Best Eleven. Koga, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, was also recognized for her performances. The awards, determined by player votes, honor excellence in the English domestic league.

Other notable honorees include Jamaica's Khadija Shaw of Manchester City, who was named the Women's Player of the Year, and Arsenal's Olivia Smith, who received the Young Player of the Year award. Manchester City players Kerstin Caspari and Khadija Shaw also joined Hasegawa in the Team of the Year.
