Yui Kubota wins consecutive sport boule titles at Asia Oceania Championships

Yui Kubota, a director of the Japan Charity Sports Promotion Organization (JCSPO) and a member of the Japanese national sport boule team, achieved a historic victory at the Asia Oceania Sport Boule Championships. Competing in Myrtleford, Australia, from August 21 to 23, 2026, Kubota and partner Ayumi Goma won the gold medal in the women's doubles event.

This victory marks the first time a Japanese athlete has achieved consecutive titles in this category at the championships. Following her win, Kubota expressed gratitude to her supporters and team, stating her intention to continue competing at a high level while fulfilling her duties as a JCSPO director to promote sports and social contribution.
