Yui Tokyo raises funds for pregnancy support and maternity home

The non-profit organization Yui Tokyo has successfully raised over 2.28 million yen through a crowdfunding campaign to establish support services for pregnant women in their teens and 20s. As of September 18, the campaign has received support from 198 donors, surpassing its initial goal of 1.5 million yen within just three days. The organization is now working toward a next goal of 3.33 million yen.

The initiative includes the launch of ‘Ninshin SOS Yui,’ a 24-hour consultation service providing support via email, phone, and LINE. Based in Setagaya and Hachioji, the service aims to assist women with medical referrals, administrative coordination, and lifestyle consultations.

Additionally, the organization is preparing to open ‘Yui no Ouchi,’ a maternity home designed to provide a safe environment for women and their infants from pregnancy through several months postpartum. The home, which was made possible through a donated house, seeks to offer stability, nutrition, and a sense of security for women facing isolation or housing instability.
