Yuicco participates in Yokohama disaster recovery awareness event

Yuicco, an organization focused on reconstruction support, participated in a community event at the Yokohama City Health and Welfare Center. The event featured a documentary screening centered on the themes of cancer and disaster recovery.

In collaboration with the Meiji Gakuin University volunteer group SBC, Yuicco showcased products from Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, to raise awareness of their ongoing recovery activities. The event served as a platform to connect long-term supporters and introduce the organization's mission to new attendees.

The gathering also included discussions regarding past relief efforts, such as the donation of the fishing vessel ‘Seya-maru’ following the Great East Japan Earthquake, and highlighted the continued connections between student volunteers and the Otsuchi community.
