Yuji Nagata defeats Satoshi Kojima but loses Ironman title to Sanshiro Takagi

At the Chou Nippon Pro Wrestling event held on September 28 at Shinjuku FACE, Yuji Nagata defeated Satoshi Kojima in their first singles match in 11 years. The bout served as a title match for the Ironman Heavy Metal Championship, which Nagata had recently acquired.

Despite facing heavy attacks from Kojima, Nagata secured the victory with a backdrop hold following a running kick. However, the celebration was short-lived. Following the match, Sanshiro Takagi took advantage of the post-match chaos to pin Nagata, successfully reclaiming the Ironman Heavy Metal Championship.
