Yukatel Denizli Basket targets dual success in domestic and European leagues

Yukatel Denizli Basket head coach Zafer Aktaş and team captain Mahir Ağva have shared their objectives for the upcoming season, which will see the club competing in both the Turkish Super League and European competitions.

Coach Aktaş confirmed his decision to remain with the team in Denizli despite receiving offers from Italy. He emphasized the challenge of managing a dual schedule, noting that the intensity of playing in both domestic and European leagues requires significant squad depth and logistical management. Aktaş stated the team aims to be successful in both arenas.

Captain Mahir Ağva expressed optimism regarding the new roster, highlighting the strong character and work ethic of both the Turkish and foreign players. Following the club's historic achievement of qualifying for European competition last season, Ağva noted that the team is prepared for the increased physical and mental demands of the upcoming schedule.
