Yuki Kaneko to release debut novel ‘Hikaru Neko Tsume’ in September 2026

Voice actress Yuki Kaneko will release her debut novel, ‘Hikaru Neko Tsume’, on September 30, 2026, through GOT Co., Ltd. The project gained significant attention following a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Set in a world where every human possesses a special power called ‘Nail’, the story follows protagonist Suzune Ogura, a ‘handyman’ at ‘Neko no Tsume’ who interacts with various individuals while pursuing a hidden objective. The book features cover illustrations by the popular artist toi8.

To celebrate the release, several events are scheduled, including an author appearance at Horindo Shoten Takadanobaba on October 3, 2026, and various signing sessions at retailers such as Akihabara Gamers and Meiya Shoten Nakano Broadway. Special purchase benefits will be offered at participating stores including Melonbooks and Animate.
