Yuki Yoza Wins Bantamweight Kickboxing Bout, Targets Haggerty Rematch

Japanese kickboxer Yuki Yoza earned a unanimous‑decision victory over British opponent Ben Woolliss at The Inner Circle 22, staged in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on July 17. The win ended a rough spell that began with Yoza’s points loss to ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty in April.

Yoza said he was relieved to claim the win but admitted his performance was only about half of what he had prepared for. He expressed ambition to fight former ONE Bantamweight Muay‑Thai champion Nabil Anane and, above all, to secure a rematch with Haggerty in order to capture the title. The bout, streamed live for ONE Championship subscribers, highlighted Yoza’s aggressive kicking and footwork, including a third‑round knock‑down of Woolliss.
