Nicolás Gastón Cichero, a 37‑year‑old caregiver at the Residencia de Adultos Mayores "David" in Mar del Plata, was recorded on security‑camera footage assaulting two elderly women. The videos show him striking a resident with a spoon, causing a superficial cut on the lip and dental damage, and verbally threatening the women with phrases such as “¿Por qué no te morís?” and “Ojito con pegarme porque te rompo la cabeza.”
The home’s management filed a complaint, leading to Cichero’s detention by the Comisaría 1ª of Mar del Plata. He was later released pending further investigation.
