Yum! Brands institutional stake rises as Mediolanum adds shares
Mediolanum International Funds Ltd increased its holding in Yum! Brands, Inc. to 216,136 shares, representing about 0.08% of the company and valued at roughly $33.4 million. Other institutional investors also boosted positions: Brighton Jones LLC, First Trust Advisors LP, CIBC Asset Management, the North Carolina State Treasurer and HUB Investment Partners collectively lifted their stakes, bringing total institutional ownership to 82.37% of Yum! Brands' shares. The stock was down 2.9% at $147.71 in early trading.
Yum! Brands remains the sole owner of KFC, the second‑largest fast‑food chain globally, operating more than 30,000 restaurants in over 150 countries and generating $2.83 billion in revenue in 2022. Major shareholders of Yum! include Vanguard (9%), BlackRock (7.5%), State Street (4%), Fidelity (3%) and Capital Group (2.5%), with the remaining 74% held by other investors.
