Yumurtalık Municipality conducts flood prevention maintenance

Yumurtalık Municipality is conducting cleaning and maintenance operations on stream beds and culverts throughout the district to prevent potential flooding and water inundation caused by expected rainfall. These efforts, carried out in coordination with Adana Metropolitan Municipality teams, aim to remove obstacles that could impede water flow during heavy precipitation.

Mayor Erdinç Altıok stated that the priority is the safety and peace of citizens and local producers. The maintenance work is not limited to the district center but extends to various neighborhoods, including Demirtaş Mahallesi, where teams are working to facilitate water flow and improve visibility for drivers in areas prone to flooding.
