Yung DSA’s brother defends rapper against fake accent claims

Pranay, the brother of rapper Yung DSA, has defended the contestant against allegations that his accent on the reality show Bigg Boss 20 is fake. The controversy arose after Gauahar Khan noted discrepancies between the way Yung DSA speaks inside the Bigg Boss house compared to his previous professional interviews.

In a social media statement, Pranay argued that his brother is simply adapting his tone to different environments. He stated that while Yung DSA uses a professional tone in interviews and panels, his behavior in the Bigg Boss house reflects his “raw, core self,” including his specific slang and upbringing. Pranay emphasized that being able to “read the room” and adjust one's communication style based on the setting does not equate to being inauthentic.
