Yungblud Breaks Down Emotionally at Bludfest in Czechia

British singer Dominic Richard Harrison, known as Yungblud, became visibly emotional during his own Bludfest performance in Czechia. In a video shared on Instagram, he wiped away tears and told the crowd, “Lately I have felt so disconnected from everything… every time I find your faces, I know that I belong somewhere.”

He later posted a lengthy statement explaining the breakdown as a release of a year’s worth of unprocessed emotions, citing the rapid rise of his career, online hate and skepticism, and accusations of being an “industry plant.” He praised a supportive article that affirmed he is not a plant, thanked fans for creating a safe space, and acknowledged the need to work on processing his experiences.

The incident, which occurred on 1 July at the festival’s field in Czechia, drew widespread attention on social media and in German media outlets, highlighting the mental‑health pressures faced by fast‑rising artists.
