Yunlin hosts folk song concert and classical piano recital

Yunlin County is hosting several musical events, including the ‘2026 Folk Song Concert’ scheduled for September 13 at the Yunlin County Stadium. The concert features seven prominent singers, including Pan Yue-yun, Wan Fang, and Jin Zhi-juan, aiming to connect different generations through classic melodies. The event will utilize enhanced stage and visual effects to provide a professional concert experience. Tickets for the second-floor stands are available via the OPENTIX online system, while paper tickets will be available at the Cultural and Tourism Bureau library starting September 1.

Additionally, pianist Chen Bo-xin recently held a solo recital titled ‘The Universe of the Piano; From Bach to Liszt’ at the Yunlin Performing Arts Hall. Chen, a student at Tainan University of the Arts, performed works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Liszt. The recital was attended by local officials and educators, who praised the young musician's technical skill and maturity.
