Yunusemre Municipality hosts Yuntdağı pistachio harvest festival

The Yunusemre Municipality hosted the first 'Manisa Yuntdağı Pistachio Harvest Festival' in the Akçaköy neighborhood to promote the region's agricultural wealth and recognize local producers.

During the event, a panel titled ‘Yuntdağı Pistachio: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’ was held to discuss production and rural tourism. Yunusemre Mayor Semih Balaban noted that pistachio production has existed in Yuntdağı for 63 years, stating that the festival aims to add value to this long-standing local resource and increase its visibility.
