Yuri Alberto returns to Corinthians lineup

Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto is set to return to the lineup for the upcoming Campeonato Brasileiro match against Internacional. The forward has recovered from a right thigh muscle injury that sidelined him for approximately two months, having not played since July 30.

His return allows manager Fernando Diniz to potentially reunite his primary offensive trio consisting of Yuri Alberto, Rodrigo Garro, and Memphis Depay. This specific combination has only started together once under Diniz's leadership, during a match against Platense in May.

Statistical data highlights Alberto's impact on the team's performance; Corinthians holds a 54.17% success rate in matches where he plays, compared to a 36.51% success rate in his absence. Alberto remains the team's top scorer for the season with eight goals.
