Yuri departs SM Entertainment after 24 years

Yuri, a member of the K-pop group Girls’ Generation, has officially concluded her 24-year tenure with SM Entertainment. Her contract expired on August 31 following a career that began when she joined the company as a trainee in 2001.

In a social media post, Yuri expressed her gratitude to the agency, stating, “Thank you for raising me, taking care of me, and loving me.” She shared emotional photos of her farewell party with staff and gifts provided by the company, noting the bittersweet nature of the departure.
