Yuridia makes history with sold-out shows at Estadio GNP Seguros

Mexican singer Yuridia has become the first Mexican woman to sell out two consecutive dates at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. The performances mark the start of her ‘Las Cartas sobre la mesa’ tour, celebrating over two decades in the music industry.

During the concert, Yuridia included a conceptual short film projected on large screens that featured a humorous tribute to her beginnings on the reality show ‘La Academia’. The sketch depicted a tarot reading involving Lola Cortés, a judge who had famously doubted Yuridia’s ability to fill large venues during her early career in 2005. The segment served as a symbolic milestone, contrasting past criticisms with her current success.

The first night drew an audience of approximately 54,000 people, with the singer expressing deep emotion regarding the scale of the event and the support from fans traveling from various locations.
