Yurika launches Siri hands-free voice memo feature for Obsidian

Yurika Co., Ltd. has announced a new hands-free Siri integration for its iOS and watchOS application, ‘Simple Memo Obsidian Integration’. This update allows users to record voice notes using AirPods without needing to remove their iPhone from their pocket.

When configured, users can trigger the function by saying, ‘Hey Siri, leave a note with Simple Memo’. The recorded content is sent via email to the user and, if the Obsidian integration setting is enabled, is automatically recorded into the user's Obsidian notes. The feature aims to minimize the time between having an idea and recording it, reducing the process from four manual steps to just two verbal commands.

In addition to Siri, the app supports several other input methods for hands-free or quick use, including the iPhone Action Button, back-tap gestures, Control Center widgets, and Apple Watch interactions.
