Yusuf Dikeç and Spanish Minister Félix Bolaños meet in Istanbul

Turkish Olympic shooter Yusuf Dikeç and Spanish Minister of Justice Félix Bolaños met in Istanbul following social media comparisons regarding their physical resemblance. The meeting took place while Bolaños was in Turkey to attend the 2026 OECD Global Roundtable Meeting on Equal Access to Justice.

During the encounter, the two shared Turkish coffee and participated in lighthearted activities, including recreating a viral ‘Spider-Man’ meme where they pointed at one another. They also performed Dikeç’s iconic Olympic shooting stance, characterized by his hand in his pocket.

Dikeç presented Bolaños with a signed Turkish national team jersey and a national team pin. Bolaños, who jokingly asked in Turkish, “Do we look alike?”, concluded the meeting with a humorous remark claiming he was more handsome than the athlete.
