Yusuf Pusmak announces candidacy for Diyanet-Sen Diyarbakır branch

Yusuf Pusmak has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Diyarbakır branch of Diyanet-Sen, representing the Yenilik Hareketi movement. During a press conference held with delegates, Pusmak outlined a new vision for unionism.

Pusmak criticized the current management of the Diyarbakır branch, noting that it has been largely run by the same cadres for approximately 20 years. He argued that this long-term leadership has led to routine, fatigue, and insufficient communication with members on the ground.

He emphasized that a union should not be a structure that waits for news from its members behind four walls, but rather one that actively engages with personnel, listens to their problems, and fights for their financial, social, and personal rights.
