Yuta Sugiura finishes sixth at Simmons Bank Open

Yuta Sugiura finished in sixth place at the Simmons Bank Open, a Korn Ferry Tour event held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee. Sugiura shot a final-round 68, finishing at 19-under par, seven strokes behind the winner.

Mexico’s Alvaro Ortiz secured his second tour victory with a final-round 63, finishing at 26-under par. Following the tournament, Sugiura rose from 23rd to 18th in the points rankings.
