Yuui Inokoshi returns to Shimizu S-Pulse from Tochigi SC

Goalkeeper Yuui Inokoshi has returned to Shimizu S-Pulse following the termination of his loan agreement with Tochigi SC. The move, effective September 8, comes as Shimizu S-Pulse seeks to bolster its squad after announcing that goalkeeper Kei Ishikawa suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, an injury expected to require nine months of recovery.

Inokoshi, 25, had been on loan with Tochigi SC during the 2026 special season and was scheduled to remain there for the 2026-27 season. Upon his return, Inokoshi expressed his determination to use past frustrations as motivation to contribute to Shimizu S-Pulse. Tochigi SC acknowledged the mid-season departure, noting the player's efforts to support their goal of promotion to J2.
