Yuuri performs two sold-out shows at Taipei Arena
Japanese singer-songwriter Yuuri returned to the Taipei Arena for his ‘YUURI 2026 LIVE IN TAIPEI’ concert series on October 9 and 10. The two-day event drew approximately 24,000 fans.
Yuuri performed a variety of hits, including ‘Thunderbolt’, ‘Leo’, and his signature song ‘Dry Flower’. During the second night, he performed a near-acapella version of ‘Dry Flower’, leading the audience in a large sing-along.
During the performances, Yuuri engaged in humorous interactions with the crowd, jokingly protesting being called ‘uncle’ by Taiwanese fans and requesting to be called ‘older brother’ instead. He also made a lighthearted reference to the South Korean group BIGBANG, who were performing in Taipei at the same time, thanking the audience for choosing to attend his concert.
Reflecting on his career, Yuuri shared personal sentiments regarding life's setbacks and expressed how the support of his fans provides him with the courage to continue his musical journey.
