Yuvraj Singh's historic six sixes in an over anniversary

Nineteen years ago, on September 19, 2007, Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh achieved a historic milestone during the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in South Africa. During a Super Eight stage match against England at Kingsmead in Durban, Singh hit six consecutive sixes in a single over.

The feat occurred in the 19th over, bowled by England's Stuart Broad. This explosive performance followed a heated exchange between Singh and Andrew Flintoff. Singh reached his half-century in just 12 balls, setting a record for the fastest T20I fifty at the time. He finished his innings with 58 runs off 16 balls, including seven sixes and three boundaries.

India's total of 218 runs led them to an 18-run victory over England, a crucial win that helped propel the team toward their eventual tournament championship.
