Yuwanky, owner of Planet Batam, wanted for drug trafficking

The Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) has issued a wanted notice for Yuwanky, the owner of the Planet Batam nightlife venues, following allegations of large-scale drug trafficking. Authorities believe Yuwanky has fled to Singapore.

Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, stated that Yuwanky is suspected of supplying various types of narcotics at the Planet Batam establishments alongside an accomplice, Basri Lewaimang. Investigations suggest the scale of distribution is significant, with an estimated 40,000 ecstasy pills circulating at the location monthly.

While Yuwanky remains at large, police have successfully apprehended Basri Lewaimang in Johor, Malaysia. Bareskrim is currently coordinating with the International Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police and Interpol to track and apprehend Yuwanky in Singapore.
