Yuzu releases surprise single ‘Kokoro wo Tome nai de’ to mark 30th anniversary

Japanese musical duo Yuzu has surprise-released a new digital single titled ‘Kokoro wo Tome nai de’ (Don’t Stop Your Heart) on October 23. The release coincides with the start of the duo’s 30th anniversary year and their three-day commemorative live performances at K Arena Yokohama.

The track was co-written by member Yujin Kitagawa in Los Angeles alongside music producer Heroism and guitarist Takayuki ‘Kojiro’ Sasaki. According to the release, the song captures Kitagawa’s internal impulses and passion for music developed during his time in LA.

A music video directed by Hideyuki Tanaka has also been released on the group’s official YouTube channel, featuring large-scale location filming that depicts the theme of following one’s heart and human impulse.
