Yvelines officials approve healthcare and agricultural initiatives
During the departmental assembly held in Versailles on September 25, 2026, officials in Yvelines discussed several key initiatives regarding healthcare, agriculture, and local services.
To improve medical access and encourage healthcare professionals to settle in the region, the Department is supporting the development of medical centers. The medical center in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines is scheduled to open in October 2026, featuring 12 medical and nursing offices, including general practitioners, a midwife, and a podiatrist. Additionally, the medical center in Bonnières-sur-Seine will undergo an expansion to include more specialists, such as a psychologist and a dietitian, with a planned delivery in the first half of 2028. This expansion involves an investment of €540,000 funded by the Department, the Region, and the Les Portes de l’Île-de-France community.
In the agricultural sector, the Department is working to increase the use of local products in middle school cafeterias by supporting short supply chains and local producers.
