Zé Luiz Rinaldi to host free poetry event in Rio de Janeiro

Poet, composer, and philosopher Zé Luiz Rinaldi will host a free poetry distribution event this Sunday, August 16, in Rio de Janeiro. Using a ‘Carrinho de Poesias’ (Poetry Cart), Rinaldi will visit Parque Guinle in Laranjeiras at 10:00 and Aterro do Flamengo starting at 13:00.

The initiative aims to bring literature into everyday public spaces, promoting engagement between children, parents, and readers. The verses distributed focus on themes of childhood, fatherhood, and affection, following the release of his books ‘Paternidade’ and ‘Poema para a criança’, published by Contra Capa Editora.

Rinaldi, a doctor of Philosophy from UFRJ, explores the human experience of care and the transformative nature of family bonds through his work.
