Zé Medeiros accused of judicial persecution in Mato Grosso Senate race

Digital activist and comedian Paulo Souza has accused Supreme Federal Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes of persecuting Senate candidate Zé Medeiros (PL) during the election in Mato Grosso.

Souza claims that judicial decisions are actively interfering with the electoral race. Specifically, he alleged that the Electoral Court removed 1,500 minutes of campaign airtime from the PL party to transfer them to opponent Janaína Riva (MDB). Souza characterized Riva as the ‘candidate of the STF’ and criticized her political connections and ideological stances.
