Z16 Simulation launches beginner-friendly Little Bird RC helicopter

Z16 Simulation introduced the Z16 Simulation Little Bird MD500, a ready‑to‑fly radio‑controlled helicopter that replicates the military‑style MD500 “Little Bird”. The model features a three‑channel control system with a 6‑axis gyroscope, barometric altitude hold, 2.4 GHz anti‑interference transmission and automatic hovering, making it suitable for novice pilots. Powered by a 3.7 V 300 mAh lithium battery, it offers about eight minutes of flight time and a 25‑metre operating range, fitting indoor and calm outdoor environments.

Zimi Model now sells a 1/35 scale kit of the AH‑6J Little Bird Nightstalker, the armed variant of the original UH‑6 used by the U.S. Army. The kit, originally released by Kitty Hawk in 2017 and later taken over by Zimi Model, includes upgraded molds and details such as a FLIR system, GPS/inertial navigation and a more powerful engine. It targets hobbyists who build and display detailed miniature helicopters, reflecting the historic development of the Little Bird series for special‑operations use.
