Zacatecas Capital to host Mexicana Universal 2026 state final

Zacatecas Capital has been named the host for the Mexicana Universal 2026 state final, scheduled to take place on November 18 at the Casa Municipal de la Cultura. The event aims to showcase the city's architectural and cultural heritage while promoting local tourism.

Mayor Miguel Varela Pinedo announced the event, noting that the municipal government will provide institutional support and collaboration. Eight participants representing various municipalities, including Zacatecas, Guadalupe, Teúl de González Ortega, Calera, Fresnillo, and Villanueva, will compete. The ceremony is expected to feature special visual elements and technology to enhance the experience for attendees.
