Zacatecas Government and Ferromex partner for environmental project

The Government of Zacatecas and Ferrocarriles de México (Ferromex) have formed an alliance to launch an environmental remediation project at the Jardín Etnobiológico Tepari. The initiative aims to build a biological heritage for future generations by preserving local flora and fauna, restoring environmental balance, and conserving ancestral knowledge.

The agreement was formalized during a meeting involving the Zacatecan Council of Science, Technology, and Innovation (Cozcyt), Quantum coordinators, and representatives from Ferromex's central offices. Hamurabi Gamboa Rosales, head of Cozcyt, stated that the partnership leverages private sector resources to strengthen the state's natural and cultural heritage.
