Zacatecas government initiates formation of Automotive Cluster

The Government of Zacatecas has formally initiated the process to establish a new Automotive Cluster in the state. Led by Governor David Monreal Ávila, the initiative aims to position Zacatecas as a competitive hub for automotive industry development.

Economic Secretary Jorge Miranda Castro spearheaded a working meeting to discuss the project. The strategy focuses on strengthening local suppliers, attracting new investments, and fostering innovation through collaboration between companies and academic institutions. By replicating the model used by the state's Mining Cluster, the government seeks to integrate local businesses into global supply chains and promote the training of specialized talent to meet industry demands.
