Zacatecas hosts wine and mezcal festivals to promote local culture
The state of Zacatecas is preparing for the fourth edition of the Wine and Mezcal Festival, titled ‘De la Raíz a la Copa’. Scheduled for October 24 and 25 at the Centro Platero in Guadalupe, the event aims to showcase the region's gastronomic richness and support local producers. The first day will focus on mezcal, while the second day will highlight the state's growing wine industry.
In addition to beverages, the festival will feature various culinary offerings including artisanal cheeses, grilled meats, and local desserts. Participating wineries and mezcal brands will offer guided tastings and mixology sessions.
Separately, the municipal government of Guadalupe held the ‘Guadalupe de mis Sabores’ festival at Jardín Juárez. This event featured 12 local gastronomic exhibitors and aimed to boost the local economy and promote regional culinary traditions through music and food.
