Zacatecas Public Security Secretariat rehabilitates park in Guadalupe

The Zacatecas Public Security Secretariat (SSP) has rehabilitated the Cerrito park in the La Zacatecana community, located in Guadalupe, to create safer environments for children and families.

As part of social proximity and prevention initiatives promoted by Governor David Monreal Ávila, members of the State Preventive Police conducted a week-long effort involving restoration, painting, and cleaning. The project aimed to foster a culture of legality and citizen participation while strengthening the relationship between security institutions and the local community.

General Arturo Medina Mayoral, Secretary of Public Security, stated that the institution's role extends beyond operational duties to contribute to the well-being of citizens. Rafael Fuerte Mendoza, Director of the State Preventive Police, noted that the work was carried out jointly with local residents to transform the park into a dignified meeting point for social coexistence.
