Zach Braff recounts Olivia Rodrigo being asked to leave a party

Actor Zach Braff shared an anecdote regarding singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo during an appearance on the Netflix show ‘Shut Up Evan’. Braff recounted an incident where Rodrigo and Charlotte Lawrence, the daughter of ‘Scrubs’ creator Bill Lawrence, attempted to attend a birthday party hosted by actor John C. McGinley.

According to Braff, McGinley had requested an adults-only gathering, which he interpreted as excluding anyone under the age of 30. The two young women reportedly jumped a fence to join the barbecue, but McGinley, who was unaware of Rodrigo’s rising fame at the time, asked them to leave. Braff noted that Rodrigo’s career saw significant growth shortly after the encounter.
