Zach Bryan wears ‘Free Palestine’ shirt at Gillette Stadium

Country music singer Zach Bryan wore a black T-shirt with the phrase ‘Free Palestine’ and an ‘An Appeal to Heaven’ emblem during his concert at Gillette Stadium on October 2. Several members of his band also wore pro-Palestinian themed clothing, including a jersey honoring Hind Rajab.

The gesture is seen as a response to stadium owner Robert Kraft, who recently barred rapper Macklemore from performing at the venue. Kraft had removed Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour following the rapper’s pro-Palestinian statements and imagery at MetLife Stadium, which Kraft described as crossing a line regarding antisemitic rhetoric.

While Bryan did not make a verbal statement from the stage, the move has sparked significant debate on social media. Some fans have criticized the inclusion of political messaging in a country music performance, while others view it as a statement of solidarity.
