Zach Bryan wears ‘Free Palestine’ shirt at Gillette Stadium

Country singer Zach Bryan performed at Gillette Stadium wearing a sleeveless shirt with the slogan ‘Free Palestine’ and an ‘An Appeal to Heaven’ graphic. His band members also displayed solidarity through clothing, including a jersey featuring the name of Hind Rajab, a child killed in Gaza.

The performance follows a recent controversy involving rapper Macklemore, who was barred from performing at Kraft Sports and Entertainment venues after using his set to advocate for Palestine. Robert Kraft previously stated that the decision to ban Macklemore was a booking choice based on a venue rule against providing a platform for hate speech, citing concerns regarding antisemitic rhetoric.

Critics have characterized Bryan’s wardrobe choice as a public statement of solidarity, while others have challenged the singer to engage in substantive debate regarding the conflict with Israeli commentators.
