Zach Charbonnet to miss at least four games for Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have placed running back Zach Charbonnet on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list, ensuring he will miss at least the first four games of the 2026 regular season. Charbonnet is continuing his recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee, an injury sustained during the divisional round of the playoffs in January.

By moving Charbonnet to the reserve/PUP list during final roster moves, the team has locked in his early-season absence. He is expected to be unavailable for matchups against the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Chargers. The earliest he could potentially return is Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, though the team has not designated a specific target date for his return.

With Kenneth Walker having departed for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seahawks' backfield will be led by 2026 first-round selection Jadarian Price. George Holani and free-agent addition Emanuel Wilson are also expected to see significant playing time behind Price during the opening stretch of the season.
