Zach Collaros misses practice due to head injury

Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros missed the team’s first practice following their bye week due to a head injury. Collaros was forced to leave the Banjo Bowl against the Saskatchewan Roughriders after appearing to land on his head and neck while attempting a tackle near the sideline.

Head coach Mike O’Shea expressed hope regarding Collaros's availability for the upcoming Week 17 matchup against the Toronto Argonauts, though no definitive timeline for his return has been provided. In his absence, Dru Brown led the first-team offense during Monday's practice and is expected to start if Collaros remains sidelined.

Other Blue Bombers also missed the practice, including Brady Oliveira, Nic Demski, and Stanley Bryant, who are dealing with ankle issues, as well as Cam Lawson, who is sidelined with a foot injury.
