Zadar 1952 and Solaris advance in Conference Cup qualification

Croatian water polo clubs Zadar 1952 and Solaris have made significant progress in the Conference Cup qualification groups.

In Athens, Zadar 1952 suffered their first defeat of the tournament, losing 13:8 to Panionios. Despite the loss, the match remained tied at 7:7 until the final ten minutes. Zadar 1952 currently holds six points, placing them in a strong position to advance to the next stage, as the top three teams from the group qualify. Their progression depends on their final match against German side Cannstatt.

In Šibenik, Solaris secured mathematical advancement by defeating Montpellier. Roko Pelicarić led the scoring for Solaris with five goals. Solaris joins Šibenik, who have maintained a perfect record with nine points, in the pursuit of the next round. Solaris will face Hydraikos in their final group match.
