Zadar allocates 250,000 euros in grants for small businesses

The City of Zadar has announced a total of 250,000 euros in non-refundable grants to support small businesses this year. This funding is divided across three programs, including 140,000 euros for competitiveness and sustainable business, and 80,000 euros for traditional and deficit trades.

A specific portion of 30,000 euros is dedicated to entrepreneurs operating on the islands administratively belonging to Zadar. This initiative aims to balance business conditions between island and mainland areas. Under this program, entrepreneurs can receive up to 1,000 euros for business plans, website development, or marketing, and up to 2,000 euros for purchasing equipment or adapting business premises. The city co-finances up to 50 percent of eligible costs, with a maximum total support of 3,000 euros per entrepreneur.
