Zadar County Tourism Board promotes hinterland via local products

The Zadar County Tourism Board organized a promotional event in the streets of Zadar to highlight the region's hinterland. Women dressed in traditional folk costumes distributed fresh local figs to tourists to showcase the area's agricultural identity.

The initiative aims to encourage visitors to explore beyond the coast and islands, directing attention toward the local villages, olive groves, vineyards, and orchards of the Zadar hinterland. Vanja Čvrljak, director of the Zadar County Tourism Board, stated that such actions will continue throughout the year to present the region as an ecological destination offering healthy, local products.
